Jesus Time: We read from the bible about Abraham and Sarah. God promised Abraham lots of children. More than the stars in the sky. Sarah finally had a baby when she was 90 years old! We colored a star together to remind us of God's promise.
Outside Time: We had two butterflies come out of their chrysalises. We named them Tree and Olivia. After letting the butterfly go, we played on the playground. Students are not only working on their Large Motor Skills but their Social/Emotional skills too!
During Snack Time, students ate their Popsicles. During the year, we are filling up our Servant Jar. When I see students show God's love by being a servant, I put a cotton ball in the jar. Once the jar is full, the students vote on what they want to do to celebrate.
Center 1: Students were to count the objects that I held up and then we picked the correct number. Students then wrote that number on their paper.
