Jesus Time: We read from the bible about Abraham and Sarah. God promised Abraham lots of children. More than the stars in the sky. Sarah finally had a baby when she was 90 years old! We colored a star together to remind us of God's promise.
Outside Time: We had a butterfly come out of her chrysalis. We named her Chrysalis and let her fly to Mexico. After letting the butterfly go, we played on the playground. Students are not only working on their Large Motor Skills but their Social/Emotional skills too!
During Snack Time, students ate their Popsicles. During the year, we are filling up our Servant Jar. When I see students show God's love by being a servant, I put a cotton ball in the jar. Once the jar is full, the students vote on what they want to do to celebrate.
Instead of doing centers, Fireman Matt came in with his uniform. Students were so brave at this time! Mr. Matt talked to us about his job and answered our questions. We are in phase 2 of our project. Check out the web outside our door with pictures of our project so far.
