CHAPEL: Mrs. Stanglein was our chapel leader. She read us a book about sharing and saying, "I'm sorry."What a great lesson about Forgiveness!
FIRE DOG PENNY!!! Sam (Miss Emma's Grandpa) brought in Penny. Miss Emma read us a story about Penny being a fire dog and then we asked questions about Fire Dogs. After our questions, we fed Penny some cheese and played with her outside. Students loved having a fire dog come to school!

Center 2: Students took out the fire hose, fire engines, and helmets outside. They loved putting out "real fires."

Story Time: Before we set up our cot, we read this book. Firefighters work hard to put out fires! They help people by showing God's love.

Free Choice: Students were so excited that Fire Dog Penny came, that they colored a dog picture, played firemen, made a road for the firemen, and more. Allison was our Photographer for the day. She took a lot of the pictures at this time.
