Calendar Time: Students sang a song about the letter L, came up with L words, and we sang songs about the Month of the Year and Days of the Week.
Center 1: This week we are working on the letter L. Today, we had play dough and we were forming it to make letter L. We also sang a L song before starting. The song went over L words and the sound that the L makes.
Objective: Literacy 2a and b. Identifies and names letter. Uses letter sound knowledge.

Center 2: At this center, students were asked "What is a Habitat?" Students were to draw what it meant to them. We will do another drawing at the end of the week to see improvement.
Center 3: This group was to build with blocks. Each group had 5 minutes at each center then we would rotate. That way all of the students would make it to each center.
Free Choice: This morning, students were able to choose anywhere in the room to explore. Students were in Dramatic Play, Block Area, Science Area,at the Sensory Table, Paints, Play-Dough and more.
Objective: There are so many objectives that could fit into Free Choice but I think that the best one right now is Language and Literacy 3- Uses appropriate conversational and other communication skills. 3a- Engages in conversations. 3b. Uses social rules of language.

We went on a hike for P.E. today. Students were to stay in line. While walking around, students were to look for bugs, birds, and listen for any noises that they would hear.
We found ants that were carrying their babies by the mouth.
We also found a spiderweb!
